TRUCK AUCTION BENEFITS CAMP SOUTHERN GROUND

Mack Trucks announced that proceeds from its recent online auction of a customized Mack Anthem used by the Zac Brown Band during their 2018 Down the Rabbit Hole Live tour will benefit Camp Southern Ground, the passion project of multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning artist Zac Brown.

The truck recently was showcased at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody for spectators to come out and view the customized truck and learn about the customization. During the summer months, the nonprofit camp in Fayetteville offers week-long inclusive, residential camps for children. In the offseason, the camp is used for veterans to support them in their transition to life after service and transforming struggle into fulfillment, growth, and productivity. Proceeds from the truck auction will go to fund continued expansion, scholarships for the children’s summer camp and two veteran programs, Warrior Week and Warrior PATHH. Bids for the truck went as high as $160,000 at the close of the auction, and actual sale and proceeds will be confirmed in early January.
