BEVERLY RHODES / CONTINUED

Beverly is highly regarded for building strong, collaborative relationships with leadership teams, colleagues, outside vendors, media and stakeholders. As founder and President of Maximum, Inc. she has brought her proven track record in PR strategy development into a small boutique agency that can help businesses convey their message. While most clients are looking for her media relations expertise, she thrives on collaborating with her team on out-of-the-box ideas for clients, including event ideation and management, corporate and internal communications, social media and digital strategy and tactics.

 

Her previous roles in both the corporate and agency world have prepared her for helping companies both big and small to identify trends, create pitches and prepare executives for successful media interface. Beverly has also won several PRSA Phoenix Awards from various clients and work collaborations in 2012, 2018 and 2019, in addition to a Stevie Award in 2018.

 

Beverly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications specializing in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing from Berry College. She is active in her local church and spends most of her free time with her husband and two children.

MELISSA SMALLWOOD / CONTINUED

Most recently Melissa was Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for a regional employee benefits firm. She managed the brand, marketing and communications, including strategy and market positioning, commercial and digital marketing, public relations and market and competitive analysis.

 

Prior, Melissa served as Group Vice President, Brand Manager at SunTrust.  During her tenure, she led the development of the company purpose and brand evolution strategy.  She monitored market trends, lead the redesign of all marketing materials to enhance company’s image with their target audience, managed the development and refinement of uniform graphic standards and visual brand strategies.  Previously, Melissa spent 9 years developing and managing integrated marketing programs for The Coca-Cola Company.   She accomplished marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and promotion programs.

 

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism specializing in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Central Florida.  She is active in the local community volunteering with multiple youth programs, non-profit organizations and her local church.  She spends most of her weekends in the stands watching her son run track or cross country and watching her daughter dance to her hearts to content on the stage.
